"Sweet Nothings" are made for an individual to hold or hug and listen to a message that comforts, reassures, and calms them. They are intended to look handmade, as if gifted by a family member. The series is inspired by isolation as a result of the pandemic. During the national lockdown, I found myself in a cycle of texting and calling loved ones. We repeated sweet nothings to keep each other from dipping into depressive episodes.
