Glass, Synthetic Rubber
This piece was influenced by the hardships BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals faced after the election in 2016. It is a panel of glass that balances on a rubber ball, displayed on a pedestal that barely fits the entire piece. The tension produced by glass resting on the silicone caused discomfort. The piece started conversations about access to mental health care in the United States.
This piece was installed at the Regis Center for Art and Rosalux Gallery in Minneapolis, MN.
